The RealValue Project Management Office team consists of 5 vital team members.
Rowena McCappin is Project Director at Glen Dimplex.
In her current role in Glen Dimplex, Rowena manages a project team which works mainly in the area of Smart Grid innovation projects including energy storage, demand side management and low carbon heating solutions. Rowena is also involved in lobbying on a European level and is an active member of key associations in the energy sector in Brussels including Eurelectric and is on the Executive Board of the European Association for Storage of Energy (EASE). Rowena is an experienced public speaker and frequently presents at energy conferences around the world.
As RealValue’s Project Business Director, Rowena acts as the vice-chair of the Project Steering Board and is the primary contact point for all formal communication between the project and the consortium partners and the European Commission. As leader of the Project Management Office, it is her responsibility to ensure that the business, financial and administrative elements of the project are carried out.
Anna Zmuda Trzebiatowska is Communications & Funding Manager at Glen Dimplex, joining Glen Dimplex in July 2015.
Anna is responsible for the management and coordination of dissemination and exploitation activities associated with key strategic Demand Side Management projects within the Glen Dimplex Group including the European Horizon 2020 project RealValue. In her current role she is responsible for implementing and monitoring dissemination plans and to assist with key communication activities both internally and externally to project partners and key stakeholders.
Anna has over seven years experience dealing with EU structural programmes relating to Transnational and Interregional Programmes and Cross-Border Programmes for Northern Ireland, Ireland and Scotland. Anna has a strong background in implementing EU programmes with experience working in public service and non-profit organisations.
Ger Finneran joined Glen Dimplex in 2012 after completing his undergraduate studies in Sustainable Energy Engineering.
After spending two years on the Glen Dimplex Graduate Development programme, Ger is now working as a project engineering for Demand Side and Smart Grid technologies, based in Glen Dimplex R&D in Dunleer Co. Louth. As part of his role on the technical management team for Real Value, Ger is responsible for the management and delivery of the technical aspects of the project.
Eva Jacques joined Glen Dimplex as Project Coordinator in February 2016.
Eva is responsible for the day-to-day RealValue project activities and facilitates the coordination of all project partners. She will ensure that all project deliverables are met on time and within budget and that all financial and administrative elements of the project are carried out effectively and efficiently.
Eva speaks multiple languages and joins us after several years working in challenging roles outside Northern Ireland in London, Moscow and Brussels including in international trade and EU affairs.
Jill Campbell is Business Administration Assistant at Glen Dimplex
Jill is a third-year student at the University of Ulster Business School, currently completing a degree in Marketing. She joined the team in June 2016 and will be working within the Glen Dimplex Project Office for a year before returning to university in September 2017 to complete her studies.
Jill will be involved with the day-to-day RealValue project activities including administrative support, dissemination, internal communication and monitoring project plans.
